What to expect

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. You may know exactly what it is that you want to talk about, or you may simply have a sense that something feels heavy unclear or difficult to carry on your own.

My work is grounded in person-centred therapy. This means I believe therapy works best when you are met as you are, without judgement pressure or expectation. Rather than being told what to do you are offered space to talk, reflect and begin to hear yourself more clearly.

Person centred therapy places importance on the relationship between therapist and client. My role is to offer warmth honesty and acceptance and to work alongside you at your own pace. Through this kind of relationship, therapy can support greater self understanding, self acceptance and a stronger sense of connection with who you are.

Therapy with me is not about fixing you or making you into something else, it is about creating space where you can explore what matters make sense of your own experiences and begin to feel more at home in yourself.
